The Wilson Fire Company No. 1, Station 20 proudly protects 7200 people living in an area of 4 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Wilson Fire Co. No. 1 is located in Peckville, which is part of Blakely Borough, Lackawanna County. For over 100 years (1895), our company, along with Blakely Hose Co. No. 2, has been serving mainly the Borough of Blakely, but will go wherever we are needed. Thanks to Jim William & Sons Surplus for their generous donation of funds to purchase an AED (Automatic External Defibrilltor) for the Fire Company. This life saving equipment will be placed on the apparatus.
